My Week In Photos: Easing into a New Month

Feb 1, 2017

We've survived the first month of 2017! Looking at what's going on around the world, this is a huge accomplishment. Let's welcome February with curious eyes and motivation to make great things happen.

How was your week? Anything exciting or upsetting? Send me your stories. My week has been uneventful, and that's not a bad thing. My life is typically frantic, so having another week of reflection is honestly blissful. I spent my time doing things I love the most: baking and reading!

I made a big batch of my Winter White Chocolate Popcorn (available to buy until Spring) and my husband loved it. He was supposed to give some out as samples, but he refused to share. I'll take that as a compliment!

I also got pretty far in The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty. I'll probably finish it today! A review will come shortly afterward. So far, it's intense and I'm enjoying it. It isn't as racy as The Woman in Cabin 10, but I still love how the story is coming together.

My skin gets really damaged during the summer, so I've created this skin regimen during the winter to repair it. These are the products I use every day and I'm loving the results. If you are interested in learning about this regimen, let me know in the comments! I'd be happy to share my tips and tricks in another post.

And I just have to share my new cast-iron teapot with you all. It's the prettiest pot I have ever owned. If you're a tea drinker, I recommend investing in one. I got mine at TJ Maxx for $17. You can also find some online. Not only are they beautiful, but they also keep your tea hot and fresh. I don't even drink that much tea but after purchasing this pot I've been drinking a ton of it!

That's all for my week. Don't forget to send me some of your week's stories in the comments. I'll be heading to New Jersey for a weekend getaway, so stay tuned for those photos! Until next time.
